Sometimes ago, a mind bugging question was asked by a sister late in the night which make me rationalise and conclude that some young believers out there too might be under the same impression towards been saved and also to share it here.

She asked, "why is it that many believers are not living and enjoying in the reality of what was said pertaining to the ones who are in Christ Jesus, is it that God is sentimental"?

For the benefit of those who would find this helpful, let me start by clarifying a particular subject in Christ which is " purpose/purposeful living".

Purposeful living in Christ will birth those things we're longing to enjoy.

Purpose is easy to find as long as you have God because purpose is found only in God.

Purpose is simple but it is a journey of intentionality.

A believer must be Intentional to have the knowledge of his/her identity in Christ. Having understood that, it will break every limitation and  brings about fullest living in Christ and also, it will fast track his/her growth.

The challenging question now is that; How much of God’s knowledge do you have, haven't you neglected the place of studying the Word for dying on prayers?

However, one challenge and fact is that, it is one thing for a man to be a believer and it is another thing for him to be spiritual and another thing to have God's knowledge.

Now, even knowledge is not as important as the maximization or utilization of the knowledge that we have.

When we call somebody a believer,  that means he has been saved, but over the years, has he had the knowledge of what God had in store for him and has he been working in the light of it?

Paul said, "we know by the spirit those things we have been given before the foundation of the earth".

Knowing is not as important as working in the reality of the knowing. So when you see believers having poor mentality so to speak, it shows that they're not working in knowledge or they don't have knowledge at all.

So Hosea 4:6 is an indication that it takes more than knowledge to live a fruitful Christian life because it says, " God's people perish not every people".

It also takes walking in that knowledge.

Jesus said, " the truth you know will set you free, knowing it and working it is what brings about maximum productivity when it comes to Christian life.

Every wrong mentality can only be wash or blot away by having the understanding of what the scripture is saying. And putting it into action.

So It takes knowledge and application of the knowledge to live to the standard God has set for us.

Shalom
