I actually derived this some days ago in my street while I was coming from town; there was a place I got to where I met a lot of elderly people discussing, and it’s a normal thing for a well-mannered person to greet them and not just pass through their middle nonchalantly, so I I greeted them.
After I moved forward, two young boys approached me saying, “Do you actually realize we were trying to greet you the other time severally but you turned deaf ears pretending not to hear us”.
On hearing that, I felt really sorry for the snub and embarrassment.
What do you think?
I came to realize many of us have been making the same mistake in the individual aspect of our lives.
Not the greetings actually but the things we take seriously than the other. There are many hidden things we understate and leave on the ground; they keep greeting us to get attention but we’ve turned deaf ear to them due to the ones we’re lost in.
Those dreams you abandoned are greeting you, why turning a deaf ear because you think you're occupied with the current ones you're greeting?
STOP SETTLING FOR LESS!
The same is our relationship with our loved ones.
Others are greeting you but you're lost already to the ones you're greeting; you don’t pay attention to the ones greeting you.
You are lost in checking up on people and caring for people and turn deaf to people who are checking up on you or that’s trying to be caring.
ARE YOU NOT LOST IN GREETING THEM?
OPEN UP YOUR EARS TO LISTEN TO THOSE GREETING YOU TOO.
