God, Abraham, Sarah, Me, Time of life and Isaac.

God: Abraham, get out of your father's house!

Abraham: Ok sir, but what do I stand to gain at that?

.

God: Trust me, I have all fullness...

.

Abraham: Baba, I know. But what will you give me in particular? seeing I go childless.

.

God: Come out of your room and name the stars in heaven and so shall your blessings be.

.

Me: Observing. 👀👀👀

.

Sarah: I have set my alarm according to the time of man, and it is quarter to. So Abraham, go in unto my maid.

.

God: Abraham, come on, walk before me and be perfect! And I'll bless Sarah and give her a son.

.

Abraham: 😂😂😂 you're too comical Baba!

.

God: Is there anything too hard for me? Ok, I'll return unto you both according to time of life with a son.

.

Sarai: kikiki kakaka😂😂😂. This Baba too dey funny o, at what age?

.

Time of life: Gbam! Here is Isaac!

.

God: Now, take Isaac your only son and offer him for me as a burnt offering.

.

Abraham:  Ok sir. 😭😭😭

.

Me: Expectation cut short!  dumbfounded.

.

Isaac: Daddy, here is matches and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?

.

Abraham: God is never late, neither will he come early but he'd definitely show up (God will provide)!

Surprisingly, as I was waiting for God to plan an award winning event/ceremony with the host of heavens for Abraham on a red carpet, there and then he loaded him with another payload of trust.

"Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering..."

There, it became crystal clear that the peak of Abraham's trust by human evaluation is the beginning of God's expectations.

As a matter of fact, we all want good things happening in our lives, but we want it instantly, not even sooner, not to talk of later.

Often, when it's not happening in our own ways, we tend to ask, "God, Why and  When?" 

But if truly We want to have joy and enjoy peace, We need to grow in the area of trusting God instead of focusing on the "when and why" questions.

I have come to the understanding that, God is more concerned with our trust than our talent and even more to our character than our career.

Trust simply means the " Total, Reliance, Upon,  Spiritual, Timing.

Sarah was much orchestrated that She had set an alarm and made Abraham to streamlined their hope in the help that came from Egypt (Hagar).

They disregarded what God said that "Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the Lord"!

And that's why her timing according to the time of man was detrimental till date.

I could remembered, if anyone woke me up from my sleep forcefully, I always feel headache because it's not yet time for me to woke up.

Brethren, God is never a man that give up on hope, even a second to his timing is never late. He can never be late. He's too big to fail man. Though he might seems not showing up on time, but he'd definitely show.

Dishearteningly, Many people out there want a change, but they don't want to go through the waiting process. And as far as trusting and waiting is concerned, it's requires preparation.

Waiting and trusting is not a passive act. Preparations enables you to be ready to “step out” when the timing is right. Keep working diligently where you are, enjoying life and serve God while you're waiting.

The question now is, are we waiting and trusting wrongly or rightly? And If peradventure life has been miserable to you, its because you've been waiting and trusting in the wrong way.

It is generally said that, God is never late, but more truthful, He never show up earlier either.

God is intentional about that because he wants to make our faith rooted in Him. He doesn't want to allow us see the exact timing of His plan for us because we might give up if we get to know how long it would to take.

However, it pays off whenever we accept God's timing than setting alarm according to the time of man. Because we'd learn to live in hope and enjoy our lives while God is working on our problems.

Therefore, trusting God is not enough, but also trusting His timing. His ways are not our ways, our overview point is always limited to His plan for us.

Finally, always remember that, God is always committed in showing up in man's quarter to shame.

The full assurance of hope is not you or in what happens around you, but only in God.
