Dear Dad,

I can recall your words to me—piercing like a needle but factual.

"My dear, many say that life is as hard as a rock."
"Life is a simple field. Play your game wisely. Don't wish to live like others—else you may derail, " you said.

You told me to marry education and give birth to success. You told me not to live like a callow.

I remember that you always made me say sorry whenever I was wrong. I was obstinate, now I have realized that saying sorry won't take anything from me. You said that life is a transient domicile, I also know that.

"When people offend you, don't treat them like a fiend rather condone and live with serenity." "When people say odious things about you; hear and pretend as though you didn't hear. Because if you reply them in anger and say something repulsive, they will use it against you," you said.

You told me to live like a meek being and treat people with love and respect. You told me to look up to the unrivaled for anything I need and worship Him more than a thousand times. You told me that the unrivaled would direct an helper to me—I should believe in Him.

You once said: "Success is a gradual process. It's like a plant that's nurtured from nursery stage  to maturity." "Don't rush, choose a career you love. What you love doing will make you shine brighter than a star."

Dad, I know that life is a school with many students. I learn diverse things everyday. You told me that whenever I feel down or unable to do things; I should look into the mirror with mettle and tell myself that I can do it.

"Let your faith be your drive in life," you said.

I'm treading the path I love and I believe it will make me glow than a sunray. I write to you with teary eyes. Not bitter tears but tears of hope and ecstasy. I hope you can hear me? On your bed six feet below.

Your words have positive impacts on me. I will live to become a role model to many.
You are my hero. You will always live in my heart now and forever.
