My smile is contagious but,
My heart is dejected,
Enclosed with pang and depression,
Blind to the sight,
My smile makes thousands believe that I'm elated,
Engulfed with solitude,
O! What a painful smile.

My smile;
An embodiment of ecstasy,
That fills many with joy and,
triggers others to smile,
But within, I'm despondent,
O! What a painful smile.

My exaggerated smile,
silently calls for aid,
To feel ease,
But many fail to see it.
