Right from my 7th day on earth my pain began, my innocent foreskin was cut off and when I screamed in pain, the doctor slapped my butts and said "be a man". 
     Growing up, I couldn't play with my sister's doll which I fancied a lot because I was supposed to be a man. Beautiful and colorful things which I always wanted I couldn't get because they were not for men.
     Mr Okon, my maths teacher unlike the way he consoled the female folks, always laughed me and some of my male friends to scorn whenever we cried after being spanked because we were supposed to be men. 
     While everyone slept in the early hours of the morning, I was always on my way to the farm in the cold but when the proceeds came, dad would say that I was a man and my needs could wait. I was to be scourged by every sun and beaten by every rain because I was a man. 
     After high school, I was declared independent, asked to hustle, fend for myself and carryout assigned  responsibilities because I was a man. 
     This day came, she offered herself willingly, teasing and tempting me, when we got caught, I was accused of manipulating and brainwashing her, others said that I wasn't man enough to resist her charms; then another came upon me like a predator would upon it's prey but when I wanted to be a man, she turned the tables, like her biblical mentor (Mrs Potipher), that daughter of Eve raised an alarm and because they said "all men are dogs", I was judged with my own side of the story unheard. 
     I cried out for help but I was mocked because according to them, "men don't cry". 
     At first, she rejected me saying that I was too poor and lazy, when I started hustling, she said that I was a workaholic, unromantic and stiff and later that I was too rich and wanted to take advantage of and enslave her. 
     When I held my peace, took her shit, endured her whinnying and nagging then I was termed a weakling and an emotional fool by the same people who said that a real man shouldn't be a woman beater. 
     Dear society, this is but to mention a few of what men suffer just because they are men. We didn't commit any crime by being men. We are men and not a slaves or a robots, we're not any less human, we have feelings that can be hurt. I don't think we deserve this much pressure to make it big. Dear woman, how can you be treated as a queen by someone whom you make a slave of? We are not  money making machines, please appreciate our efforts. It's supposed to be our home in all aspect, it's relationship and not a job opportunity, it's called copulation so don't make it seem like someone is being favoured at the expense of another. We might not be able to do it like you do and that is why we have each other cause an axe without its head is just a wood, and without it's handle it's just a blade.
