I am a wo-man,
Yes formed from the ribs of a man,
Wonderfully created just as you are.
I am a mother , sister , aunt and a grandma
I am full of love and energy
Bolder than a lion wiser than a serpent and yet calm as a lamb
I am a piller in every home

Yes I am a wo-man
The beauty in every society
Yet I am despised by the men
And treated in disdain
Painted with inferiority
Cast out of matters of power
And designed as a weak vessel
Abandoned by the city gates
And trampled upon by the men

I am a wo-man
Human just like you man
But why can't I be with you in those rooms of deliberations
In that atmosphere of proposition
I too can give excellent ideas to those situations
So do not cast me out to the kitchen 
Where you say I belong 
For I am worth greater than that.

So dear men
I can do greater things just as you are
Even greater than what you do
So don't deprive me when opportunities come cox I am a woman
I am a builder treat .e with fairness
I can build greater things too
So do not see me like an abandoned work of art
And hey!
When you call me a wo-man
Don't be blind to see the man in me.
