Hey! Its been a while here.

I Miss you.

While working on a project recently, I felt the urge to write on Low self-esteem. Apparently, this is my first time of writing on the subject. But I don't know who this is for. But I know someone will be blessed after reading it.

I am delighted to inform you about the major reason behind your low self-esteem, inferiority complex and that feelings of inadequacies.

The truth is that, ever one of us at one point or the other have suffered from low self-esteem. Therefore, the tenacity of the low self-esteem is the answer to where we're today as an individuals.

Peradventure, you've examined or compared yourself with others around you, in your field of studies or in your choice of career, and you never see yourself taking a good edge ahead of them; may I tell you that you're only a step away from them.

I have always ponder on why people still feel the same even after reading some profound articles about self-esteem.
However, this pieces of mine is not to disdain whichever articles you might have read, but to enhance them. Probably this is the ingredient you're missing to embrace yourself for a good and high self-esteem.

Basically, I'd say  low self-esteem is not because someone lack charisma or (s)he did not love him or her self, or because (s)he is incapacitated. It is  because (s)he is lacking what I'll be addressing in this write up.

I have studied and read about people who faced beyond what we can even call low self-esteem and yet, they became successful with this essential ingredient you're missing.
Quickly let me take you through two different stories.

***

Joseph was a young man who was aware of what God had for him at his prime age. He understood that what God had spoken to him and declared about him was true no matter what the circumstances indicated to him.

This verse of the Bible became one of my favorites because it defies the logic of Joseph’s circumstances. It says, “And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian.”

God’s declared that Joseph was “a prosperous man.” This was even at a time in his life when his own brothers had sold him into slavery and told his father he was dead. When he found himself on an auction block in a foreign land, and was stripped of everything—including his coast of many colors. When He was serving as a slave! Yet he maintained his head so high!

The Second story.

You've all read about the account of Jeremiah's call into ministry right? If not, I urge you to do so after now.
His call to ministry came at the 13th reign of a small boy called Josiah. Who started ruling at the age of eight, and he was a good king who did all he could to restore God's worship and removed the idols.

It was during that transitional time that  Jeremiah came  into the scene. This young man couldn't see himself making a good edge ahead of others and then he started with his inadequacy... He said, "I, Ah, Lord God! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child."

Then, God said to him, kai! Stop saying you're  a child: for you shall go to all that I will send you, and whatsoever I command the you shall you speak. Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with you to deliver you.

Then the Lord put forth his hand, and touched his mouth. And God said unto him, Behold, I have put my words in your mouth.

Meanwhile, prior before him stating his inadequacies, God had said to him that, before he was formed in the womb, He knew him and before he was born He had separated and set him apart as a prophet to the nations. And this knowledge automatically set him on the track of his race.

This infers that, Low self-esteem is not literally as a result of lack charisma or of self-love, but as a result of lack of wider self-knowledge and the wider general knowledge. This is because no one will ever love what (s)he did not have any knowledge about. The general knowledge could be, that of your choice of career or in your field of studies.

Therefore, any form of inadequacies comes as a result of poor knowledge of what you have within you and what God has called you to be or who God says you're. Or better still, the major cause of low self-esteem is low of self-knowledge and the low of general knowledge in your field of studies.

Indisputably, the majority of people you're seeing superior to you are those that have built enough capacity to acquire a wider knowledge about themselves, about what God says about them and a wider knowledge in their field of studies of which you failed to acquire.

They basically perform more than you do through the knowledge they have acquired.
Now the question is, have you even take time to know what God says or declared about you? Or you keep comparing yourself with others? If you have acquired the knowledge, do you keep them at work in your mind?

The fact remains that, long before you were conceived by your parents, you were firstly conceived in the mind of God. It is not fate, chance, luck, or coincidence that you are breathing at this very moment. Your parents might not planned you, but God did. God wasn't surprised by your birth. In fact, he expected it.

You're not a mishap!

The Bible says you're, "which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God."

God prescribed every single detail of your body. He deliberately chose your race, the color of you skin, your hair, and every other feature. He custom-made your body just the way he wanted it.

Palmist acknowledged this and that's why he said, "You know me inside and out, you know every bone in my body; You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit, how I was sculpted from nothing into something." (Psalm 139:15 Msg).

Little wonder, God decided how you would be born. Regardless of the circumstances of your birth or who your parents are, God had a plan in creating you. As there could be illegitimate parents, there are no illegitimate children because many children are unplanned by their parents, but they are not unplanned by God.

Everybody is born with something. You're not empty. You cannot bury your head in pity or inadequacies and except success. No! The whole thing that will make you successful is the self-knowledge you've acquired by yourself through your creator.

Now that is cristal clear that God created you to be unique, it is then wise to say that, the degree of knowledge you acquire about yourself through God will help you in sharping and shaping your uniqueness. Since uniqueness is the manifestations of your innate abilities.

Study to show yourself approved!

However, in the process of acquisition of knowledge, keep it embodied with love. Because the Bible says, knowledge puffs up while love builds up. Love is what will keep your uniqueness inform not to go out of shape.

Before you get yourself drawn in the pool of low self-esteem, I'm glad to tell you that I have narrated my story in between those lines and how I have been winning the battle of low self-esteem.

Therefore, low self-esteem is not a lack of charisma. And it cannot be dealt with by taking any hard drugs that birth highness and all sort of shameful characters. It can only be basically dealt with by taking an adventure to know what God says about you.

Shalom
