When the doctor says
You are expecting a baby girl ?
Do you run off 
Getting dolls for her to play with ?
Do you go back home 
Ensuring her room is pink ?
Do you buy flowery dress for her?
Do you ensure she understands
She is supposed to be on a skirt and blouse
To be dressed as a lady ?
Do you see her
Making a baby with her pullover
And smile cause you expect that some day
A guy will pull-over in order to pay her price?

As she grows 
Do you tell her to talk softly ?
Do you tell her to walk gently?
Cause you think all this is a 
Prerequisite to get a gentleman
Do you teach her obedience and submission?
Cause some day she will be sent on a mission
To sub-mit to someone else
Do you tell her not to explore too much?
Too much books would make her less submissive
You say
She had always wanted to be a lawyer
But you admonished her not to
I guess it is part of the submission lesson.

Maybe some day you will 
Wake up to the reality 
That she is not just a girl
She is a builder 
She could rule her world if given a chance to.
