Tales of an Ajekpako….
I am Wale Adenusi by name, I was brought up in Ajegunle, (the worst ghetto I’ve seen in my life) Lagos state Nigeria, living a life of abject poverty, an Ajekpako life. I had to hawk daily to help fend for the family affairs as the first son, because the father I have isn’t helping matters at all… better being fatherless than having such kinda father, he never cares.
Everyday of my life is trouble filled, I go to bed every night with no hope of what tomorrow brings, a purposeless life, I guess I came to this life simply because others are coming, maybe I escorted someone to this world, only God knows.
The Ajekpako life style is very interesting, the ghetto life I live with my family isn’t bad, but it’s worthless and purposeless.
Will I continue to live my life like this?, surely not.
But how will I do it to escape this kinda life..
