Africa New Generation: A techie who's changing how we see and use technology.

In recent years, we could only see how software and Web Development is changing the technology industry in Africa, we have larger population of entrepreneurs in the Web and software field because of their exposure to the Internet and then following step by step guidelines from books. I found it very easy to create my first software project using C# and VB.Net back then in 2013 because everything was gotten from the Internet and all design are done inside the integrated development environment (IDE).

Software development

Most people interested in hardware designing finds it very difficult to learn because of limited availability of materials needed such as resistors, capacitors, diodes, transistors, inductors, transformers, sensors, modules etc. unlike the software that no external resources needed to get started and we will be launching our solution for this by January 2018. There's a very popular saying that "Hardware is Hard"

Electronics Components

Even when few people get started with electronics as hobby, they still find it difficult to advance into the embedded system world, it took me over two years to get stable in embedded system and this has made many people to give up their interest on hardware manufacturing, I get a lot of email and messages everyday from people who wants to get into embedded system , One interesting fact about Embedded system is that your hardware(circuit) design skill must be equal to your embedded software(microcontroller or microprocessor programming) skill, this two must be balanced before you can get far in the advanced hardware design world.

Embedded system is some combination of computer hardware and software, either fixed in capability or programmable, that is designed for specific function or for specific functions within a larger system. Some applications include: (industrial machines, agricultural and process industry devices, automobiles, medical equipment, cameras, household appliances, airplanes, vending machines, toys, mobile devices, telecommunication system, Robotics and Automation, commercial and military etc.)

One of the major reasons why most Africans doesn’t want to go into hardware designing is because it takes longer time(years) to become an expert in the field, for example, I started electronics at the age of 18 and it’s over 8 years now, my experience grew with passion and time. We are now changing the game, we don’t want people to spend years learning how to design and code in electronics and that’s why I invented the CloudX microcontroller.

 

With CloudX microcontroller users doesn’t need to learn hundreds of instructions set or any microcontroller architecture, just with little or basic understanding of C programming with the CloudX library they can actually create advanced projects.

 

The CloudX microcontroller also supports visual programming where kids can actually learn how to code in electronics using visual blocks, it is also supported by the most used electronics circuit simulation software called Proteus so that users can test their projects before real world applications. I will be launching three websites that is focused on (Products, Services and Online components sales) that’s will help to promote hardware manufacturing among people across Africa.

I want to get many Africans into the embedded system design world and I don’t want them to depend on the foreign existing easy microcontroller called the Arduino microcontroller, therefore, we are trying as much as possible to increase our hardware tech community across Africa.

I will also like to appreciate the founder of TechHive community for their passion and dream for the hardware smart city projects using the CloudX microcontroller. We want to create a world where people can actually create their own technology to solve tech problems, a world where people's electronic ideas can turn into reality.
