He strolled home excited today… he knew he’d done exceptionally well in the test the teacher set for J.S.S 3. It was his turn to make fun of those who’d score 3/20 when the results came out.

‘He counted…Grace, Stella, Faith, Favor, Gabin, Gift, Emmanuel, Tabitha, Tayoh, Temiloluwa, Rereloluwa and others who made fun of me last term…it is their turn to cry’ the grin on his face was visible now as he thought about the next day and how the lashes would land on their back.

He sang as he galloped home ‘Tomorrow is the day; tomorrow is the day….’
