Nigeria:
A country that celebrates independence 
But isn't dependent

A nation of heroes,
Without wins

A nation with History,
Without Achievements

A nation of resource,
Without result

A nation, sleeping on wealth, 
But sleeping in hunger

A nation with hard workers, 
But dying in penury

A nation blessed beyond measures, 
But its citizens: starving

A traveling nation, 
Without destination

A nation like a forest, 
But without trees

A nation full of visions, 
But no determination.

With ambition, 
But lack concentration.

Full of pains, 
But not even one gain.

Of great glorification,
Without satisfaction.

A nation with unpatriotic patriots

See,

Labour of heroes past, 
Isn't it becoming vanity?

A nation bound in freedom, 
Isn't it shattering to captivity?

Our directed noble courses, 
Isn't it going astray?

But, we gat the grace, the glory, the power, the might,  the strength, the faith, the vision, the enablement, the ambition, the heroes, the resource, the blessing.

But diversity is the hitch. 
And greed is the hindrance. 
With Lack of Contentment which is the deterrence.

See,

A retrace backtrack Is the necessity 
To retract the errors 
To avoid phobia of the future.

The foundation needs recheck, 
And erroneous acts to correct.

We should go to the almighty and plead for mercy, 
And our land will be a pacifist. 
. 
One Nigeria! 
One People!
