CloudX is a microcontroller developed in Nigeria at ByteHuB Embedded, It is the first opensource hardware and software embedded chip designed in Africa that comes with a programming software or Intergrated Development Environment(IDE).

The CloudX IDE is a free platform where embedded systems programmers writes their codes, compile it and upload into the microcontroller. The standalone IDE has the capacity to generate machine language (known as HEX files).

The environment is very flexible, user-friendly and helps to reduce library error percentage to about 0.2% becuase it comes with autocomplete features, library tips features, highlighting likely errors or bugs, library hints, sample projects, library documentation, user’s guide, visual block coding etc.

The v5.06 IDE fully supports the standard CloudX library v2.40 and users can easily understand the libraries by studying the documentation file. the library reduces bulky lines of code. Example is the Dot matrix LED display project done with just two lines of code.
