I walk this world with heart ablaze,
Through the labyrinth of youthful days.
I cast my gaze toward the lofty sky,
In their timid 'why', I see wings to fly.

Keys of wisdom in my hand, I pass,
Onto those constructing their life's class.
Some shine bright, others cast a shade,
Their missteps draw my comfort to fade.

My stride is slowed, my imprint slight,
Impact dulled in the growing night.
Yet in my core, an ember glows,
For each young spirit, my affection flows.

A cost I've paid, a sting so deep,
Yet within me, trust I'll keep.
Do I dare to offer once again?
Or does caution seal this open fen?

Fear whispers 'no', but my heart replies 'yes',
In this grand game of life, I'll accept no less.
They are the dawn, this much I see,
A world moulded by their decree.

I’ll journey again, this time with care,
For trust, when sighted, is truly rare.
With faith in youth, I'll stride anew,
They are the future, the chosen few.
